Fr. Fitzpatrick grew up in Norwood, Massachusetts. After graduating from Xaverian Brothers High School, he attended St. John's Seminary College in Brighton. He then worked in a group home first with juveniles and second doing rehabilitation, teaching children who had suffered a traumatic brain injuries. Afterwards, he reentered formation for the priesthood in 1999 and went to St. Mary Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland for the fall semester of that year. Upon graduation from “The Mount”, he was sent to serve at St. Mary's Parish in Mansfield Massachusetts as a transitional deacon.
Fr. Fitzpatrick's ordination to the priesthood was on October 11, 2003 and he continued to serve as St. Mary's as Parochial Vicar as well as chaplain of Bishop Feehan High School for three years. In 2008 he was assigned chaplain to UMass Dartmouth. When he left his assignment in Dartmouth, he was named parochial vicar at Corpus Christi, Sandwich and Parochial Administrator of St. Joan of Arc Parish, Orleans from January-June 2014. He became our Parochial Administrator in June, 2014 and has subsequently become our Pastor.

Pastor, Brazilian Ministry
Fr. Marcos is our Brazilian priest, who arrived in the United States on April 27, 2018. He Ministers to the American Community as Parochial Vicar and the Brazilian Community, as Pastor, here at St. Francis Xavier Parish; the Falmouth, Fall River and Taunton Brazilian Communities, as well. He has brought with him a myriad of experiences, for someone so young. In 2023 he celebrates the Eighth Anniversary of his Ordination.
Fr. Thomas M. Kocik, KHS
In Residence
Father Thomas was ordained in 1997 and served as parochial vicar of our parish from 1998 to 2002. In 2019 he was invested as a Knight of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem. Since July 2020 he has served as chaplain to Cape Cod Hospital. He is the celebrant of the traditional Roman Mass (1962 Missal) offered at Sacred Heart Chapel every Sunday, holy day, and first Saturday.
